ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
Develop and implement a comprehensive public relations and corporate communications strategy.<\/p>\n
Position the company as a responsible corporate citizen, with strong emphasis on sustainability, community development, and environmental stewardship.<\/p>\n
Lead and manage internal communication strategies to ensure consistent and effective messaging across the organization.<\/p>\n
Prepare high-quality press releases, media statements, speeches, and other communication materials.<\/p>\n
Coordinate press conferences, media engagements, interviews, and other public-facing events.<\/p>\n
Oversee the creation, management, and quality of content across the company\u2019s website, social media channels, newsletters, and other digital platforms.<\/p>\n
Coordinate stakeholder engagement initiatives and community outreach activities.<\/p>\n
Supervise the development of audio-visual content for internal and external communication.<\/p>\n
Develop and execute a robust social media strategy to enhance the company\u2019s digital presence and reputation.<\/p>\n
CANDIDATE PROFILE:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Development Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.<\/p>\n
A postgraduate qualification in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or a similar discipline is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Minimum of 5\u20137 years of professional experience in public relations, media relations, corporate affairs, or corporate communications.<\/p>\n
Strong understanding of the Zambian regulatory and media landscape; experience within the mining sector is highly desirable.<\/p>\n
