\nOverall Job Purpose<\/p>\n
The Town Services Superintendent will oversee the transition of town services from private management to municipal control, ensuring a seamless and efficient transfer of operations.
\nThis key leadership role will manage the integration of services, personnel, and infrastructure, while maintaining high levels of community satisfaction and service delivery.<\/p>\n

\nSpecific Job Responsibility<\/p>\n
Transition Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive transition plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
\nService Delivery: Ensure continuity of essential services, such as public works, utilities, and community services, during the transition period.
\nPersonnel Management: Oversee the transfer of personnel from private to municipal employment, including benefits, training, and support.
\nInfrastructure Management:
\nManage the maintenance of Town infrastructure ensuring its in good state of repair.
\nManage the transfer of infrastructure, including facilities, equipment, and assets, to municipal ownership and control.
\nCommunity Engagement: Foster positive relationships with residents, businesses, and stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing updates on the transition process.
\nBudgeting and Finance: Develop and manage budgets for municipal services, ensuring effective allocation of resources and financial sustainability.
\nRegulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies during the transition process.
\nPerformance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service delivery, efficiency, and community satisfaction<\/p>\n

Strong leadership and management skills
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

\nExperience with budgeting and financial management
\nKnowledge of relevant laws and regulation<\/p>\n
Key Job Attributes<\/p>\n
Proven experience in transition \/Project management, or a similar field.
\nExperience in Municipal Management and Town Development will be an added advantage<\/p>\n

\nExperience required to perform in this job<\/p>\n
At least 7 years\u2019 experience in project management Municipal services or related fields
\nDemonstrate knowledge of municipal operations
\nProven record of managing Transitions<\/p>\n

\nQualifications<\/p>\n
Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Urban planning or related field
\nAll qualifications must be certified by ZAQA<\/p>\n
