Breath of Heaven Children\u2019s Ministries (BOHCM)\u00a0is a registered NGO dedicated to helping meet the needs of orphans in Zambia.\u00a0Located in Barlastone Park, Lusaka, the Ministry currently incorporates a Children\u2019s Village, which provides residential care for 100 orphans and vulnerable children, a primary\/secondary school with an enrollment of 400 students, a medical clinic, and a community church.\u00a0We are near completion of our new Vocational Training College (VTC) which will provide a quality post-secondary education that will further impact the lives of our children and the community.
\nAs a reputable\u00a0Christian Primary School\u00a0is inviting applications from suitably qualified, committed, and God-fearing individuals to fill the position of\u00a0Primary School Teacher.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Childhood Education curriculum
\nCreate a safe, loving, and stimulating Christian learning environment
\nNurture learners\u2019 spiritual, social, emotional, and cognitive development
\nIntegrate Christian values and biblical principles into daily teaching and routines
\nObserve, assess, and record learners\u2019 progress
\nMaintain effective communication with parents and school administration
\nEnsure the safety, cleanliness, and well-being of learners at all times<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements<\/p>\n
Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution
\nDegree in Early Childhood Education will be an added Advantage
\nValid Teaching Council License
\nMust be competent in teaching using the New Competence Based Curriculum (CBC)
\nAt least two (2) year teaching experience in a nursery or pre-school (added advantage)
\nMust be a committed Christian with good moral character
\nPassion for teaching young children and strong classroom management skills
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\nAbility to work as part of a team<\/p>\n
