{"id":6919,"date":"2025-12-29T10:00:54","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T10:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/radio-producer-at-zamcom\/"},"modified":"2026-03-07T00:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-07T00:14:14","slug":"radio-producer-at-zamcom","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=6919","title":{"rendered":"Radio Producer at ZAMCOM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOB OPPORTUNITY<br \/>\nThe Zambia Institute of Mass Communication (ZAMCOM) was established under the ZAMCOM Act of Parliament of 1996 to provide Communications and Media training and production services.<br \/>\nZAMCOM is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the following position;<br \/>\nRADIO PRODUCER (TEMPORARY)<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nTo oversee the development, planning, and execution of multimedia productions at ZAMCOM by managing production teams, coordinating logistics, supervising content creation, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.<br \/>\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Developing and managing radio production schedules, budgets, and resources for projects.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Coordinating pre-production and post-production activities, including script development.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Providing input on presenting and news casting techniques, and production quality.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Assigning tasks and ensure that team members meet project goals and deadlines.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Facilitating communication and commercial collaboration among all stakeholders.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensures adherence to copyright laws, licensing agreements, and broadcasting regulations.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Mitigates risks related to on-set safety, content sensitivity, and legal issues.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Develops and enforces ethical and professional production standards.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Explores opportunities for new projects, funding, and business collaborations.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Builds and maintains relationships with clients, sponsors, and media partners.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Represents ZAMCOM at industry events, media conferences, and stakeholder meetings.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bachelor of Mass Communications, Journalism or its equivalent.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0At least 3 years of experience in media production, film, television, or digital content creation.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proven experience in managing production teams and overseeing large-scale projects.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Extensive knowledge of video production, cinematography, editing, and post-production processes.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
