Job Purpose
\nThe Accounts Clerk Intern will assist the finance department with daily accounting and administrative tasks. This role is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in basic accounting procedures, financial record-keeping, and office operations while supporting the accounts team.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Assist with data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems
\nHelp prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
\nSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
\nFile and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
\nAssist with bank reconciliations and petty cash records
\nHelp prepare basic financial reports and schedules.
\nVerify financial data for accuracy and completeness.
\nSupport month-end and year-end accounting tasks as required.
\nPerform general administrative duties related to the finance department.<\/p>\n
Requirements & Qualifications<\/p>\n
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma\/degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
\nBasic understanding of accounting principles
\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
\nStrong numerical and analytical skills
\nGood attention to detail and accuracy
\nAbility to maintain confidentiality of financial information
\nWillingness to learn and take instructions<\/p>\n
