Job Description<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nResponsible for providing technical advice and support for the installing, testing and maintaining of IT Infrastructure (Hospitality) components for the business unit with specific regard to but not limited to
\nPost jobs free<\/p>\n
Providing all aspects of technical support to end users within the constraints of the technical processes.
\nAssisting in stability and maximum availability of client infrastructure components.
\nResponsible for performing all assigned end user client technical tasks.
\nRecommends for continuous improvement as per identified faults.
\nEnsuring day to day 1st level fault closure as per the SLA.
\nEnsuring calls assigned to them are executed and resolved within required SLA MTTR\u2019s targets.
\nRegularly monitors and accurately checks of IT client\/server and guest facing infrastructure. (Daily, Weekly, Monthly IT Shift Checklist)
\nMonitor systems and when necessary, refer for corrections, using known solution and proper change controls policy
\nExecute tasks delegated from unit head, section head, head of department and above about basic problem resolution.
\nEnsuring knowledge of IT asset movement and assignment in accordance with IT Asset register.
\nPerform daily checks and walk abouts to clear clients, network and systems errors identified as per delegated by unit head and above
\nUpdating IT assets and IT asset auditing performed on regular basis.
\nAdherence to system maintenance requirements as per business needs and SOP\u2019s.
\nDaily investigations into IT faults and errors to prevent re-occurrence, thus preventing future downtime.
\nAssisting and setting up of conferences and any guests requested setups relating to IT.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
IT Related Diploma or NQF Level 6.\u00a0Degree an advantage
\nOther IT related qualifications, will be considered an advantage
\nMinimum of 1 years relevant IT industry experience
\nAbility to solve problems
\nManage and mitigate risks
\nExperience with Microsoft Active Directory and advantage
\nExperience with hospitality an advantage<\/p>\n

Full grade 12 certificate
