\nAbout the Role
\nWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving financial strategy to support the company\u2019s growth objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in financial management within banking, finance, or insurance sectors.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company\u2019s goals and objectives.
\nOversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
\nEnsure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, including tax and financial reporting standards.
\nManage financial risk, liquidity, and capital structure to maintain organizational stability.
\nProvide strategic insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors for business growth and sustainability.
\nLead and mentor the finance team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
\nEstablish and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
\nMonitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.
\nDrive implementation of financial systems and technology to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master\u2019s degree or professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CFA is an added advantage).
\nMembership with ZICA (Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants) is mandatory.
\n6\u20138 years of experience in a senior management position within banking, finance, or insurance industries.
\nStrong knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
\nProven experience in strategic financial planning and execution.
\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\nAdvanced proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and ERP systems.<\/p>\n
