\nJob Summary:
\nThe Skip Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, delivery, and collection of skip bins from client locations while ensuring compliance with road safety and waste-handling regulations.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Operate skip trucks safely to deliver and collect skip bins from customer sites
\nLoad, transport, and unload skip bins in accordance with safety procedures
\nConduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs
\nEnsure proper placement and secure loading of skips
\nFollow assigned routes, schedules, and company instructions
\nAdhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations
\nMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle
\nComplete delivery records and job documentation accurately<\/p>\n
Requirements & Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Valid\u00a0Type B and Type C driving licenses
\nProven experience driving skip trucks or heavy commercial vehicles
\nGood understanding of road safety and defensive driving practices
\nAbility to work flexible hours, including early mornings
\nPhysically fit and capable of handling operational duties
\nReliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
\nGood communication and customer service skills<\/p>\n
Preferred (Advantageous):<\/p>\n
Previous experience in waste management or logistics
\nBasic mechanical knowledge<\/p>\n
