Financial Reporting &amp; Compliance<br \/>\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.<br \/>\nManage full-cycle tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, Corporate Tax and Withholding Tax via the ZRA portal.<br \/>\nEnsure 100% compliance with the ZRA Smart Invoice system for all transport services rendered.<br \/>\nHandle all statutory submissions, including NAPSA, NHIMA, and Workers\u2019 Compensation.<br \/>\n2. Fleet &amp; Trip Accounting<br \/>\nPerform \u201cTrip Reconciliations\u201d: auditing driver expense retirements against fuel receipts, toll fees, and GPS mileage.<br \/>\nPetty cash management.<br \/>\nTrack and report on Cost Per Kilometer (CPK) for each vehicle in the fleet.<br \/>\nMaintain an up-to-date Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate depreciation of the fleet.<br \/>\n3. Revenue &amp; Credit Management<br \/>\nEnsure timely invoicing upon receipt of Proof of Delivery (POD) and Waybills.<br \/>\nMonitor accounts receivable and perform vigorous debt collection to maintain healthy cash flow.<br \/>\nAnalyse route profitability to assist management in pricing and tender bidding for contracts.<br \/>\n4. Internal Controls<br \/>\nImplement strict controls to prevent fraud, specifically regarding fuel procurement and maintenance spending.<br \/>\nCandidate Requirements<br \/>\nEducation: Professional level 2 qualification (ZICA, ACCA, or CIMA).<br \/>\nProfessional Membership: Must be a current, paid-up member of ZICA (Associate or Licentiate).<br \/>\nExperience: Minimum of 2 \u2013 3 years in a similar role. Experience in the transport\/logistics or mining sector is highly preferred.<br \/>\nTechnical Skills: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage Pastel, or similar ERPs.<br \/>\nIntermediate-level Excel skills (for trip data analysis).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
