Our mission is to empower farmers with feed solutions that enhance animal health, boost performance, and increase profitability.<br \/>\nReporting to:<br \/>\nHead of Sales \/ Commercial Director<br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\nTo drive sales growth and market penetration of\u00a0Day-Old Chicks (Broilers &amp; Layers)\u00a0by managing relationships with\u00a0commercial poultry farmers, distributors, and institutional customers, while ensuring volume growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sales &amp; Business Development<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Develop and execute sales strategies to grow DOC volumes among\u00a0commercial farmers, integrators, and large poultry operations.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (volume, revenue, margin).<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Identify new business opportunities, regions, and large farm accounts.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manage pricing, discounts, and contracts in line with company policy.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Customer Relation Management<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Build and maintain strong relationships with\u00a0commercial poultry farmers, hatcheries, and key distributors.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Act as the main point of contact for key accounts.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Provide technical guidance (in coordination with technical teams) on chick handling, brooding, and performance.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Order Planning and Forecasting<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Forecast DOC demand accurately to support hatchery production planning.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Coordinate with hatchery, production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely deliveries.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manage order cycles, confirmations, and customer communication.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Market Intelligence and Reporting<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Gather feedback on chick quality, performance, and customer needs.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for management.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Team and Channel Management<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Support and guide sales officers, depot teams, and distributors.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Train customers and sales staff on DOC handling best practices.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Work closely with feed, veterinary, and technical teams for integrated solutions.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Compliance and Quality<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure adherence to biosecurity, animal welfare, and regulatory standards.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.<br \/>\n7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Skills and Competencies:<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Commercial acumen and result orientation<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Knowledge of poultry production economics<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ability to work under pressure and meet tight delivery timelines<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Excellent communication and reporting skills<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Willingness to travel extensively<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience:<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agribusiness, or related field.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a03\u20135 years\u2019 experience\u00a0in poultry sales, hatchery operations, or animal feed \/ livestock sales.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong understanding of\u00a0broiler and layer production cycles.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proven experience working with\u00a0commercial poultry farmers.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
