Job Description
\nResponsible for all real-time monitoring of Transmission network alarms and alerts received from the NMS, EMS and NE\u2019s. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and diagnosing all network alarms\/alerts and performing first level intervention on all incidents before raising escalation tickets to Network Support and\/or Field Teams and will be Based in Kitwe

\nKey Responsibilities
\nAlert\/Alarm Management<\/p>\n
To ensure effective monitoring of all network and service alarms of Data Centre<\/p>\n
Problem Management<\/p>\n
Undertake first level problem Diagnosis, Correlation and Intervention<\/p>\n
Ticket Management<\/p>\n
Raise of Trouble Ticket
\nEscalation to appropriate teams until resolution
\nClosure of TT
\nAll stakeholder notification<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
Report on all matters affecting service quality
\nEscalate all matters on time so that service is restored asper SLA metrics agreed with clients.
\nUpdate the incident management system with appropriate information whenever any incident occurs.<\/p>\n
Health Checks<\/p>\n
Perform basic daily weekly system health checks to ascertain system uptime<\/p>\n
Customer Support<\/p>\n
Handle support calls and advise clients in customer friendly manner<\/p>\n
Security<\/p>\n
Always ensure compliance to privacy and security standards<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
Diploma in Power\/Telecommunications or a relevant qualification
\nMember of EIZ or ICTAZ or any relevant body<\/p>\n
Key Competencies and Skills<\/p>\n
Extensive knowledge and hands on demonstrated capability of performing basic troubleshooting on ICT equipment, power & cooling equipment and access control.
\nIdentifies problems\/issues.

\nAbility to quickly respond to any incident
\nAnalytical thinking and eager to learn
\nBusiness understanding

\nAble to set own priorities.

Years of Experience Required<\/p>\n
1 to 2 years\u2019experience working in a support role or in the Network Operations Centre<\/p>\n
