\nScope of Work
\na)\u00a0Lead Communications and Advocacy Strategies and Workplans<\/p>\n
Develop and execute communications and advocacy strategies, including digital outreach, to raise awareness and build support for sustainable development initiatives in line with the\u00a0organizational\u00a0priorities.<\/p>\n
Manage communications for key events and activities, ensuring impactful messaging and community engagement.<\/p>\n
b)\u00a0Lead Content Development and Media Outreach<\/p>\n
Produce high-quality editorial content including blogs, newsletters, and reports, ensuring clarity and alignment with\u00a0our\u00a0branding and mission.<\/p>\n
Create and disseminate multimedia content (e.g., videos, infographics) and compelling storytelling to engage the community and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Identify media opportunities, prepare press materials, and coordinate outreach efforts during campaigns and events.<\/p>\n
c)\u00a0Oversee Content Dissemination across Digital Platforms<\/p>\n
Manage the\u00a0organization\u2019s\u00a0social media presence, ensuring coherent messaging across all digital channels.<\/p>\n
Oversee the development and maintenance of the\u00a0new\u00a0website, collaborating with relevant colleagues to enhance user experience and engagement.<\/p>\n
Monitor and analyse performance metrics to evaluate outreach effectiveness and share insights for continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
d)\u00a0Support Internal Communication Workflows and Partnerships<\/p>\n
Streamline communication processes to ensure strategic alignment across initiatives and enhance the efficiency of message delivery.<\/p>\n
Coordinate team meetings for content planning, ensuring prompt delivery of materials and assets.<\/p>\n
Engage with partners, donors, and stakeholders to amplify outreach and collaborative advocacy efforts.<\/p>\n
e)\u00a0Facilitate Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building<\/p>\n
Ensure that project reports capture lessons learned and best practices for enhanced dissemination among stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Contribute to knowledge networks related to sustainable development and establish platforms for resource sharing.<\/p>\n
Promote advocacy efforts and collaborative opportunities to address local development challenges alongside partners and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or any related field.<\/p>\n
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role.<\/p>\n
Proficient in editing software (Adobe suite) for audio, video, and publications.<\/p>\n
Good camera handling skills.<\/p>\n
