{"id":7067,"date":"2026-01-13T08:02:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T08:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/night-auditor-at-mika-convention-centre\/"},"modified":"2026-04-22T00:14:23","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T00:14:23","slug":"night-auditor-at-mika-convention-centre","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=7067","title":{"rendered":"Night Auditor at Mika Convention Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Key Responsibilities<br \/>\nFront Office &amp; Guest Service<\/p>\n<p>Welcome and assist guests during check-in and checkout.<br \/>\nManage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.<br \/>\nAssist with late arrivals and early departures.<\/p>\n<p>Night Audit &amp; Financial Duties<\/p>\n<p>Perform daily revenue reconciliation for all hotel departments.<br \/>\nBalance and post charges to guest accounts.<br \/>\nVerify and correct discrepancies in daily transactions.<br \/>\nPrepare night audit reports for management.<br \/>\nClose the day\u2019s business and roll the system over to the next business day.<\/p>\n<p>Administration &amp; Reporting<\/p>\n<p>Prepare daily front office reports (occupancy, arrivals, departures, in-house guests).<br \/>\nUpdate room status in coordination with the housekeeping department.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate records, logs, and documentation.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.<br \/>\nMinimum of\u00a01-year work experience\u00a0in a similar role.<br \/>\nExperience in front office operations or accounting is an added advantage.<br \/>\nProficiency in hotel-related computer systems and MS Office.<br \/>\nStrong numerical and analytical skills.<\/p>\n<p>Skills &amp; Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication and customer service skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.<br \/>\nHigh level of integrity and confidentiality.<br \/>\nStrong attention to detail.<br \/>\nProblem-solving and time management skills.<br \/>\nAccountability and customer-focused approach.<br \/>\nReliability and punctuality.<\/p>\n<p>Working Conditions<\/p>\n<p>Willingness to work night shifts.<br \/>\nAbility to work independently during late hours.<br \/>\nMust demonstrate professionalism, alertness, and reliability.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
