\nKey Responsibilities
\n\u00d8\u00a0Provide visionary academic leadership that upholds Edubridge\u2019s standards of excellence.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Oversee teaching, learning, and assessment with a commitment to quality and student success.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Mentor and develop academic staff, cultivating a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Ensure alignment with UK\/Western higher education expectations and international foundation pathways.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Strengthen relationships with partner institutions, moderators, and external academic bodies.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Guide curriculum delivery, programme development, and academic timetabling.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Uphold rigorous quality assurance processes and continuous improvement practices.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Support students through effective academic policies, monitoring, and interventions.
\nQualifications & Experience
\n\u00d8\u00a0Academic qualification at post-graduate or equivalent level or relevant professional qualifications.
\n\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0Relevant teaching experience, a minimum of five years teaching experience.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Education management experience, a minimum of five years education management experience.
\n\u00d8\u00a0An understanding of UK\/Western higher education and the needs and requirements of international students.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Direct experience of higher education in an international context.
\n\u00d8\u00a0An understanding and experience of International Foundation Qualifications.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Experience of academic assessment and standards and of quality assurance procedures.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Specific experience of education in Zambia.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Experience of the development of academic qualifications.
\n\u00d8\u00a0An understanding and appreciation of private sector education.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Experience of living and working in Zambia

\n\u00d8\u00a0Competence in ICT for academic and administrative functions.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Strong planning, organisation, and initiative within policy and curriculum frameworks.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Ability to contribute to policy development and academic strategy.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Financial competence in managing academic budgets or resources.
\n\u00d8\u00a0High attention to detail, fairness, and academic integrity.
\n\u00d8\u00a0Ability to priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure \u2014 even with limited resources.
