{"id":7088,"date":"2026-01-15T12:00:22","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T12:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/territory-sales-manager-zambia-at-burn\/"},"modified":"2026-04-22T00:14:22","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T00:14:22","slug":"territory-sales-manager-zambia-at-burn","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=7088","title":{"rendered":"Territory Sales Manager \u2013 Zambia at BURN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>About the role<br \/>\nBURN is looking for a Territory Sales Manager who will be responsible for leading and executing sales strategies within their assigned territory to achieve revenue and sales targets.<br \/>\nThis role involves managing a team of sales representatives, building and nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Responsible for Team leaders and agents in the assigned province to drive quality sales as per the set forecast.<br \/>\nCommunicate to agents and customers on Company policies and procedures.<br \/>\nStock management: stocks with agents specifically to minimize loss.<br \/>\nReporting on key activities in the field: sales, financial reconciliation, data entry by agents, stock levels, verification, and creditability of data.<br \/>\nTraining team leaders, agents, and customers on the relevant business procedures.<br \/>\nSales target management including team leader and agent recruitment.<br \/>\nWork closely with warehouse officers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of products to the sales agents.<br \/>\nIdentify and develop new distribution partnerships targeting wholesalers, retailers, financial institutions, corporations, government institutions, and NGOs.<br \/>\nRegional performance reporting including team performance to target.<br \/>\nGather critical market information on the improved cookstove sector, BURN\u2019s distribution partners, competitor activity, and other key areas of the market.<br \/>\nMarket visits and travel as required by the business.<br \/>\nOther assigned tasks as per the business requirements<\/p>\n<p>Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n<p>A bachelor\u2019s degree in business, marketing, management, or a related field.<br \/>\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in a related industry.<br \/>\nBased within or willing to relocate to the assigned province.<br \/>\nKnowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices.<br \/>\nExperience in assisting with strategic projects or initiatives.<br \/>\nPrior experience in recruiting, training, and managing sales teams.<br \/>\nAbility to motivate and lead a team to achieve sales targets.<br \/>\nUnderstanding of supply chain and distribution processes.<br \/>\nExperience in managing relationships with distribution partners or clients.<br \/>\nStrong communication and negotiation skills.<br \/>\nProven ability to identify and develop new distribution partnerships.<br \/>\nKnowledge of market analysis and business development strategies.<br \/>\nKnowledge of competitors and market trends.<br \/>\nProficiency in office software and administrative tasks.<br \/>\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.<br \/>\nAbility to effectively communicate with internal teams and external partners.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Qualified Female Candidates encouraged to Apply<br \/>\nBURN\u00a0does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, meeting, processing, training, or any other fees).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
