All positions are on a full-time basis.<br \/>\n1. LECTURER \u2013 MEDICAL SURGICAL \/ CLINICAL NURSING<br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\nTo provide effective teaching, clinical supervision, and academic mentorship in Medical Surgical and Clinical Nursing, and to contribute to curriculum development, research, and quality assurance.Career counseling services<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nPlan, prepare, and deliver lectures, tutorials, and clinical practical sessions in line with approved curricula.<br \/>\nSupervise and assess students during clinical placements to ensure effective integration of theory and practice.<br \/>\nPrepare, administer, and mark assessments and examinations in accordance with University regulations.<br \/>\nProvide academic mentorship, guidance, and support to students.<br \/>\nParticipate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, examinations, and quality assurance activities.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate academic and assessment records and submit required reports.<br \/>\nComply with University policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience:<br \/>\nGrade 12 Certificate with five credits including English, Mathematics, and Science.<br \/>\nBSc in Nursing, Midwifery, or a related discipline.<br \/>\nMSc in Nursing.<br \/>\nMinimum of two (2) years\u2019 tertiary teaching experience.<br \/>\nValid NMCZ practising certificate and ZAQA clearance.<br \/>\nKey Attributes and Competencies:<br \/>\nStrong clinical and teaching competence in Medical Surgical Nursing.<br \/>\nEffective communication and presentation skills.<br \/>\nHigh standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.<br \/>\nAbility to mentor, guide, and support students academically and clinically.<br \/>\nAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary academic and clinical team.<br \/>\nGood organisational and time management skills.<br \/>\nDemonstrated involvement in research activities and\/or contribution to scholarly publications will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
