All positions are on a full-time basis.<br \/>\n4. LECTURER \u2013 NURSING EDUCATION<br \/>\nJob Purpose<br \/>\nTo strengthen nursing pedagogy through effective teaching, curriculum delivery, and support academic staff development in line with approved standards and best practice.<br \/>\nKey responsibilities:<br \/>\nDeliver teaching and learning in Nursing Education including pedagogy-related courses, in line with approved curricula and academic standards.<br \/>\nSupport the development, review, and continuous improvement of nursing curricula and teaching methodologies.<br \/>\nMentor and provide academic support to students and junior academic staff to enhance teaching effectiveness and professional growth.<br \/>\nParticipate in quality assurance, accreditation, and evaluation activities to ensure compliance with University and regulatory requirements.<br \/>\nContribute to academic planning, meetings, and other institutional activities related to teaching and learning.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience:<br \/>\nGrade 12 Certificate with five credits including English, Mathematics, and Science<br \/>\nBSc in Nursing or related discipline<br \/>\nMSc in Nursing Education<br \/>\nMinimum two (2) years teaching experience<br \/>\nNMCZ registration and ZAQA clearance<br \/>\nKey Attributes and Competencies:<br \/>\nDemonstrated competence in Nursing Education practice and teaching.<br \/>\nEffective communication and presentation skills.<br \/>\nHigh standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.<br \/>\nAbility to mentor, guide, and support students academically and clinically.<br \/>\nAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary academic and clinical team.<br \/>\nGood organisational and time management skills.<br \/>\nDemonstrated involvement in research activities and\/or contribution to scholarly publications will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
