All positions are on a full-time basis.<br \/>\n5. LECTURER \u2013 CRITICAL CARE NURSING<br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\nTo provide advanced teaching, clinical instruction, and supervision in Critical Care Nursing in line with approved curricula and professional standards.<br \/>\nKey responsibilities:<br \/>\nDeliver teaching and learning in Critical Care Nursing in accordance with approved curricula, academic standards, and best clinical practices.<br \/>\nSupervise and support students during clinical placements in intensive care and high-dependency units to ensure safe practice and achievement of required competencies.<br \/>\nDevelop, administer, and mark assessments, examinations, and practical evaluations, and provide academic mentorship to students.<br \/>\nContribute to the development, review, and improvement of Critical Care Nursing curricula and clinical training approaches.<br \/>\nParticipate in academic, clinical coordination, and quality assurance activities related to teaching and learning.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience:<br \/>\nGrade 12 Certificate with five credits including English, Mathematics, and Science<br \/>\nBSc in Nursing or related discipline<br \/>\nMSc in Critical Care Nursing<br \/>\nMinimum two (2) years tertiary teaching experience<br \/>\nNMCZ registration and ZAQA clearance<br \/>\nKey Attributes and Competences:<br \/>\nDemonstrated competence in Critical Care Nursing practice and teaching.<br \/>\nEffective communication and presentation skills.<br \/>\nHigh standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.<br \/>\nAbility to mentor, guide, and support students academically and clinically.<br \/>\nAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary academic and clinical team.<br \/>\nGood organisational and time management skills.<br \/>\nDemonstrated involvement in research activities and\/or contribution to scholarly publications will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
