All positions are on a full-time basis.Career counseling services<br \/>\n8. LECTURER \u2013 PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING<br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\nTo deliver teaching, field supervision, and academic support in Public Health Nursing, with emphasis on community-based practice and preventive care in line with approved curricula and standards.<br \/>\nKey responsibilities:<br \/>\nDeliver teaching and learning in Public Health Nursing in accordance with approved curricula and academic standards.<br \/>\nSupervise and support students during community-based and public health practice placements to ensure attainment of required competencies.<br \/>\nAssess, examine, and provide academic guidance to students in public health nursing courses.<br \/>\nContribute to the development, review, and improvement of Public Health Nursing curricula and community training approaches.<br \/>\nParticipate in academic planning, outreach activities, and quality assurance processes related to Public Health Nursing.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience:<br \/>\nGrade 12 Certificate with five credits including English, Mathematics, and Science<br \/>\nBSc in Public Health Nursing or related discipline<br \/>\nMSc in Public Health Nursing or related disciplines<br \/>\nMinimum two (2) years teaching experience<br \/>\nNMCZ registration and ZAQA clearance<br \/>\nKey Attributes and Competences:<br \/>\nDemonstrated competence in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing practice and teaching<br \/>\nEffective communication and presentation skills<br \/>\nHigh standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity<br \/>\nAbility to mentor, guide, and support students academically and clinically<br \/>\nAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary academic and clinical team<br \/>\nGood organisational and time management skills<br \/>\nDemonstrated involvement in research activities and\/or contribution to scholarly publications will be an added advantage<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
