With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world\u2019s most pressing heath challenges.<\/p>\n<p>PATH seeks four Provincial Malaria Coordinators for the USG-funded Reaching every at-risk community and household with malaria services (REACH Malaria) global project. REACH aims to provide implementation support services and technical assistance to countries to accelerate progress in comprehensive delivery of facility and community-based malaria services, including malaria case management, prevention of malaria in pregnancy (MiP), health systems strengthening, data collection and use for service delivery, and other malaria prevention interventions. REACH will also support maternal newborn and child health (MNCH) interventions.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe Provincial Malaria Coordinator will report to the Technical Advisor and coordinate implementation of malaria and MNCH interventions in the province, coordinating with relevant ministry of health officials at subnational level, PATH technical teams and other implementing partners.<\/p>\n<p>Note: This recruitment is for a Provincial Malaria Coordinator position, based in Chinsali (Muchinga Province).<br \/>\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Manage implementation of project activities at provincial and district level, collaborating closely with NMCP and other local partners.<br \/>\nSupport the Chief of Party and Malaria Technical Advisor to develop provincial annual workplan, budgets and performance reports<br \/>\nLiaise with all relevant stakeholders, including subnational MOH officials, universities, civil society and private sector to implement planned activities<br \/>\nEstablish and maintain positive working relationships with project partners.<br \/>\nContribute technical expertise in relevant subnational TWGs and provide input on standard operating procedures and guidelines for project implementations<br \/>\nWork with in-country and PATH administrative contacts to facilitate contractual and financial reporting requirements.<br \/>\nProvide\u00a0technical expertise\u00a0and guidance to\u00a0the malaria program at provincial and district MOH level, ensuring high-quality interventions across all technical areas.<br \/>\nConduct field visits to surveillance sites to ensure adherence to established protocols.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nRequired skills and experience:<\/p>\n<p>A minimum of five years of experience coordinating technical activities in public health programs, preferably for malaria or MNCH and nutrition<br \/>\nA minimum of Bachelor\u2019s degree in public health or medical sciences required. A medical degree with a postgraduate qualification in public health or similar is preferred.<br \/>\nExperience supporting donor funded projects and familiarity with malaria or public health programs.<br \/>\nProven team leadership and strong management skills, including use of planning and supervision tools, management of program, documentation, budget monitoring and oversight.<br \/>\nExperience interfacing with and navigating governmental and nongovernmental organizations.<br \/>\nDemonstrated effective project management and organizational skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work with a variety of partners with minimal supervision.<br \/>\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.<br \/>\nTeam-oriented and ability to facilitate productive working relationships inside and outside the organization.<br \/>\nAbility to travel frequently within the country required.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
