\nAfrican Thunder Travel & Tours is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Travel Agent \/ Travel Consultant to join our growing team in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, selling, and coordinating local and international travel arrangements while delivering exceptional service to leisure and corporate clients.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\u2013 Advising clients on travel options, destinations, and costs
\n\u2013 Booking flights, hotels, tours, transfers, and travel insurance
\n\u2013 Handling ticketing, reissues, refunds, and cancellations
\n\u2013 Assisting clients with visa requirements and travel documentation
\n\u2013 Designing customized travel itineraries for individuals and groups<\/p>\n
\u2013 Liaising with airlines, hotels, and tour operators
\n\u2013 Managing travel changes and emergency support when required
\n\u2013 Maintaining accurate booking records and client databases
\n\u2013 Actively promoting and selling travel products and services
\n\u00a0
\nQualification & Experience Required:
\n\u2013 Diploma or Certificate in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field<\/p>\n
\u2013 Minimum 2\u20135 years\u2019 experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Consultant
\n\u2013 Knowledge of airline ticketing and fare rules
\n\u2013 Experience with GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or Travelport)
\n\u2013 Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills
\n\u2013 Ability to work independently and under pressure
\n\u2013 Knowledge of visa processing and international travel regulations is an added advantage
