\nThe\u00a0Livingstone Institute of Business and Engineering Studies (LIBES)\u00a0is a Government institution under the\u00a0Ministry of Technology and Science, established under\u00a0Statutory Instrument No. 7 of 2003\u00a0in accordance with the\u00a0Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Act of 1998.
\nThe Institute is located at\u00a0Plot No. 2621, Nakatindi Road, Livingstone.
\nLIBES invites applications from\u00a0suitably qualified, motivated, and experienced Zambian nationals\u00a0to fill the following vacant position:
\nHUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (01)
\nReporting to:\u00a0Principal
\nPurpose of the Role
\nTo develop and implement human resource and administrative strategies aligned with LIBES\u2019 strategic goals, ensuring a competent, compliant, and motivated workforce.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage recruitment, performance management and staff development
\nAdminister employment contracts, discipline and employee relations
\nEnsure compliance with the Employment Code Act and other labour laws
\nDevelop and implement Human Resource policies, procedures and systems
\nMaintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date employee records.
\nManage institutional properties, insurance and maintenance
\nOversee student affairs and general administrative functions
\nPrepare and submit statutory and management reports
\nPrepare, implement, and monitor departmental budgets and expenditure
\nPrepare payroll inputs and ensure accurate remittance of statutory deductions and returns<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field
\nMinimum of three (3) years\u2019 relevant experience, with at least two (2) years at managerial level
\nValid membership with the\u00a0Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM),at least Associate level.<\/p>\n
