\nAlfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for Fire Assay Technicians to join our team in Zambia. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out operational procedures associated with classical fire assay methods. This role involves ensuring high levels of precision, accuracy, and efficient service are delivered on all types of samples submitted to the lab for analysis.

\nDO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
\nTo be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
\nRequired Competencies<\/p>\n
Knowledge of LIMS in data management
\nGood knowledge of ISO 17025
\nPractical and proven knowledge in Gold (Au) analysis by fire assay. (PGM experience will be an added advantage)
\nHands on experience in Spectroscopic methods AAS or ICP
\nOpen and honest at all times
\nHardworking individual with a creative mindset<\/p>\n
Required Work Experience<\/p>\n
At least 5 years working experience in a Fire Assay Laboratory preferably in a commercial lab.<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications<\/p>\n
Diploma in Laboratory Science\/Technology or Degree in Laboratory Science\/Chemistry or any related Chemical Science will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
