Job Summary
\nThe Relationship Officer \u2013 Salary Advance will be responsible for driving sales and growth of the salary advance product by acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role focuses on payroll-based lending, particularly targeting government, quasi-government and Corporate employees. The ideal candidate is sales-driven, customer-focused, and experienced in salary advance or short-term lending products.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Actively market and sell the salary advance product to eligible clients.
\nIdentify, acquire, and onboard new customers through fieldwork and referrals.
\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
\nProvide accurate information to clients regarding loan products, terms, and repayment schedules.
\nAssist clients with loan applications and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
\nEnsure timely submission and follow-up of loan applications to meet turnaround time targets.
\nMeet and exceed individual sales and disbursement targets.
\nConduct client outreach activities at workplaces and institutions.
\nMaintain accurate client records in the loan management system.
\nHandle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate where necessary.
\nEnsure strict adherence to company policies, KYC requirements, and regulatory guidelines.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
\nMinimum of 1\u20133 years\u2019 experience in sales or customer service within financial services.
\nExperience in salary advance, payroll-based lending, or short-term loans is a strong advantage.
\nPrevious experience with a similar role will be an added advantage.
\nGood understanding of lending processes and customer credit assessment.
\nStrong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and basic loan management systems.<\/p>\n
