This role involves building strong relationships with relevant stakeholders to achieve sales targets set by the Agronomy &amp; Commercial Sales Manager, including but not limited to activities related to:<\/p>\n<p>Sales &amp; Business Development<br \/>\nProduct Stewardship<br \/>\nCustomer Relationship Management<br \/>\nMarketing and Market Research<br \/>\nField Activities &amp; Events<br \/>\nOrder processing<br \/>\nReporting and Record Keeping<br \/>\nStock Control<\/p>\n<p>Functional Knowledge<\/p>\n<p>Zambian small holder farming business and dynamics, market trends and competitive landscape.<br \/>\nZambian Agriculture Regulatory environment<br \/>\nFertilizer and Crop nutrition products and markets<br \/>\nSales processes in the small holder farming sector (end user customer and channel customers)<br \/>\nSAP processes<\/p>\n<p>Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Influencing communication skills<br \/>\nIntegrity and reliability<br \/>\nSelf-Motivated and disciplined with ability to self-manage time and apply resources responsibly<br \/>\nComputer Literacy with proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint<br \/>\nFluent written and spoken English<br \/>\nFluent in spoken Tonga<\/p>\n<p>Business Expertise, Leadership, Problem Solving, Interpersonal Skills<\/p>\n<p>Understanding of the agricultural sector, particularly small holder farming space<br \/>\nUnderstanding of economic yield goal settings as relates to crop input budgets<br \/>\nUnderstanding sales contractual agreements<br \/>\nContributing to financial goals by chasing predetermined sales objectives and targets and self-leadership in attainment of Key Performance Indicators measured via Contribution, Impact and Behaviour indicators<br \/>\nIntrapreneurial mindset with an understanding of given business objectives<br \/>\nContribution of solutions to the day-to-day challenges of the Small Holder department, in collaboration with the Agronomy &amp; Commercial Sales Manager \u2013 Zambia Cluster<br \/>\nAbility to establish professional and productive relationships across a variety of customers<br \/>\nAbility to communicate well and be able to explain instructions for accurate execution.<br \/>\nAbility to transparently encourage openness and honesty and providing constructive feedback<br \/>\nAt all times be aware that you are an ambassador for Yara<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications in General Agriculture, as well as experience Sales and Marketing.<br \/>\nAgricultural Institute of Zambia (AIZ) membership<br \/>\nMinimum 02 years successful work experience in a similar position, with previous position exposure to Yara being an advantage<\/p>\n<p>Apply no later than 15 February 2026<\/p>\n<p>All candidates must complete the online application questions and meet the minimum requirements to be considered<br \/>\nShould Yara not correspond with you directly before 31 March 2026, the company thanks you in advance for your submission but regrets that you will not be considered for the position.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge grows through differences<br \/>\nYara is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
