In order to achieve its mandate Eastern Water and Sanitation Company is advertising for the position\u00a0DISTRICT MANAGER\u00a0to\u00a0be based at Nyimba<br \/>\nPOSITION TITLE:\u00a0DISTRICT MANAGER (GRADE S5- REQUIRED NO. 1)<br \/>\nREPORTING TO:\u00a0DIRECTOR ENGINEERING<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0PURPOSE OF THE JOB<br \/>\nThe main purpose of the job is to plan, coordinate and manage operations of Nyimba district in order to provide quality water and sanitation services, commercial services including customer relations so as to contribute to financial viability and quality service delivery.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATIONS<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Grade 12 School Certificate with merit or credit in Mathematics, Science and English<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Chemical or equivalent.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Computer literate \u2013 fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Epanet AutoCAD.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Member of the Engineering Institute if Zambia<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Three years working experience in a similar position<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Valid Driver\u2019s licence is a must<br \/>\nThe person should have excellent communication skills, good organizational and planning skills, ability to handle and operate engineering equipment, driving skills, problem solving and ability to make decisions, patience and calmness under pressure, ability to lead and motivate a team, with a polite and tactful but assertive attitude.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
