\nPosition: DEPOT CLERK
\nLocation: MUFULIRA, KITWE, KASUMBALESA, CHILILABOMBWE, KALUMBILA, MWINILUNGA, KASEMPA, KABOMBO & MUFUMBWE
\nContract: One Year Contract
\nReporting to the Sales and Distribution Supervisor, the successful candidates will be accountable for the following:
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure customers are dealt with in a timely manner and be courteous at all times
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To hear customer complaints
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure that the depot is kept clean at all times
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Carryout developmental plans to improve sales and depot performance
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Accessing sale performance at the depot
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Maintaining and improving upon all control systems and procedures including inventory management, stock movement, order receiving, processing and dispatching.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Periodically checking quality and quantity of stock received daily, weekly and monthly stock sheets and explain variances.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Reconciliation of cash banked against Route Settlement report.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensuring that breakages are controlled according to the standards.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Preparing accurate daily, monthly and ad-hoc reports timeously.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Managing the distribution function to standard for effectiveness.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure that the office is clean, tidy and in a hygienic state.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Accurate and timeous input of data in the system
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Printing accounts statements and issue of receipts to customers
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Liaising with Sales and Distribution team on non-paying customers
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Filing systematically all Accounts Receivables and Proof of deliveries (PODs)
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Assisting in stock taking and carry out other duties as delegated by Management
\nThis job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate
\nCertificate\/Diploma in Accounting Field or equivalent.
\nBe computer literate and knowledge of SAP is added advantage.
\nAt least 2 years working experience.
\nHonest, reliable and self-disciplined.
\nAbility to work under pressure<\/p>\n
