About the role
\nBurn is looking for a\u00a0Field Operations Assistant in Ndola who will play a crucial role in supporting and facilitating the efficient functioning of the field operations team.
\nDuties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Last Mile Inventory Management:<\/p>\n
Ensure safe, timely & effective inventory flow in the last mile meeting BURN\u2019s
\noperating procedures and processes consistently.
\nOverseeing stock storage processes including tagging and labelling
\nReport the stock status to the warehouse supervisor on a daily basis.
\nKeep an accurate, up-to-date track of inventory to minimize losses and damages.
\nEnsures recovery of lost inventory happens according to processes.
\nEnsure incoming product is received and managed\/arranged appropriately according to
\nBURN\u2019s procedure.<\/p>\n
Stock Taking:<\/p>\n
Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes.
\nManage and control inventory stock counting\/inventory accuracy checks with support from warehouse supervisor and sales agents.<\/p>\n
Facility and Government compliance<\/p>\n
Assume full responsibility for the Stockist Point facility.
\nComply with Safety and Security company procedures.
\nEnsure that licenses and local Government (TAE, Taxa de Lixo, Offloading taxes) are up to date<\/p>\n
Aftersales:<\/p>\n
Receiving the default product brought back for fixing and communicating resolution timelines to the customer.
\nTroubleshoot and fix defaulted products and update the relevant reports after resolution.<\/p>\n
Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
3 years of stock management
\n2 years of supply chain management experience
\nUnderstanding the FIFO\/LILO Standards.
\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in a relevant field
\nVery good interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
