\nOverall Job Description
\nThe Alarms Controller Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Monitoring\/Control Centre, ensuring that all alarm signals are monitored, processed, and responded to promptly and in accordance with company procedures. The role involves supervising alarm controllers, coordinating with response teams, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring high standards of service delivery to clients at all times.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Supervise and coordinate the activities of alarms controllers on all shifts
\nEnsure all alarm activations are handled promptly and according to standard operating procedures.
\nEnforce standard operating procedures and compliance with company policies
\nEscalate incidents to response teams, technicians, and management as required
\nPrepare duty rosters, manage shift handovers, and ensure adequate staffing
\nEnsure accurate logging, reporting, and documentation of all incidents
\nTrain, mentor, and discipline alarms controllers where necessary
\nHandle client inquiries, complaints, and incident follow-ups professionally
\nLiaise with response teams, technicians, and management
\nAny other duties as maybe assigned<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements<\/p>\n
Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
\nDiploma in in Information Technology or equivalent
\nMinimum of\u00a03 years\u2019 experience\u00a0in an alarm monitoring or control room environment
\nSupervisory or team-lead experience will be an added advantage
\nGood communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
\nComputer literate with basic reporting skills
\nAbility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
\nHigh level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism<\/p>\n
