\nReporting to the Coordinator Infrastructure, you will be responsible for plumbing maintenance of buildings, offices, camps, warehouses and associated civil structures. Supervising the plumbing team to ensure efficient execution of plumbing works, adherence to safety standards and compliance with statutory regulations.
\n\u00a0
\nYour duties will include but are not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
Supervise plumbing maintenance and repairs in buildings and infrastructure.
\nPrioritization of daily plumbing tasks, ensuring that the work meets expected quality of workmanship.
\nEnsure compliance with plumbing codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
\nEnsure proper use of tools and equipment including PPE.
\nManage plumbing contractors and resources for efficient completion of works.
\nCoordinate with Coordinator Infrastructure on work packs, shutdowns, and maintenance plans.
\nCoordinate with other departments during shutdowns of sewer & water lines or pump replacements and repairs.
\nEnsure accurate recording of work orders in SAP
\nProvide accurate progress and other required reports to the Coordinator Infrastructure.
\nPromote safety and environmental awareness in the team.
\nIdentify opportunities for improving plumbing maintenance processes.<\/p>\n

\nTo be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate.
\nMinimum Advanced Certificate in Plumbing and Sheet Metal, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role.\u00a0
\nExperience in the use of a recognized Computer Maintenance Management System CMMS, preferably SAP.
