AB Bank is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Head of Risk.
\nThe Head of Risk will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide risk functions, including credit, operational, market, liquidity, compliance, AML, and information security risk.
\nAmong other responsibilities, you will be expected to:<\/p>\n
Provide strong leadership and manage people across risk, compliance, AML, and information security functions.
\nProvide Integrity and independent judgement in identifying, assessing, and escalating risk.
\nProvide strategic, analytical thinking and manage enterprise-wide risks.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:<\/p>\n
At least 5 years of work experience in a financial context.
\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit and\/or Branch Management (manager and\/or coordination.
\nProven experience leading enterprise-wide risk functions, including credit, operational, market, liquidity, compliance, AML, and information security risk.
\nDemonstrated capability in risk identification, measurement, monitoring, control, and reporting, in line with BoZ prudential guidelines and Basel principles.
\nStrong experience engaging with regulators, Board Risk Committees, Executive Management, and external stakeholders, including auditors and development partners.
\nEstablished track record in advisory, analytical, and project-based risk roles, including leading or supporting bank-wide risk initiatives and governance frameworks.
\nGood fluency in English and willingness to perfect verbal and written communication skills.
\nUniversity Degree in Business Banking, Finance, Economics or related fields. Master\u2019s Degree is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
