\nJob Purpose
\nThe\u00a0 Senior IT Officer will work with the IT Manager and will be responsible for planning, exploring and maintenance of technology resources for maximum efficiency and productivity of the organisation.<\/p>\n
Summary of Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating systems.
\nPlan, design and implement the information technologies.
\nGenerate an effective plan to achieve the set target.
\nRecognize the objective and generate a vision for the members of the team.
\nAim for enhancing the productivity of the firm.
\nCoordinating the activities of the team office to guarantee maximum efficiency.
\nRecognize the client\u2019s requirements to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
\nManage the technical team within the technical services operations.
\nProvide training and mentorship to the technical members of the company.
\nRecruit team members and provide them with the necessary training to deliver the expectations of the technical department.
\nEnsure company commitments to the customer are achieved from technical compliance and SLA perspective.
\nManage relationships with ICT suppliers both locally and internationally.
\nMonitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information for appropriate and timely decision-making.<\/p>\n

Qualification and Experience<\/p>\n
Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
\nMust have any professional technical\/ certifications in line with the ICT profession
\nMust have 5+ years of work experience of 2 years which must have been at a supervisor level or holding a similar role.
\nMust have full knowledge of\u00a0Network\/System maintenance and IT Operations which support Network\/System Management, IP Network Administration and Security Appliance Management.<\/p>\n
Should have proven expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing the firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, installation, and configuration of Windows servers and their roles.
\nMust have sound knowledge of\u00a0IT Governance Standards
\nExcellent working knowledge of MS Office
\nWork experience in the\u00a0Insurance or\u00a0Telecoms sector will be a plus<\/p>\n
