\nForest Africa Zambia Ltd is a Zambian-based company dedicated to sustainable natural resource management and the commercialization of inclusive indigenous non-timber forest-based value chains. The company works with rural communities to support livelihoods, empower women and youth, and promote environmental conservation through initiatives such as wild fruit collection, baobab and other indigenous fruit processing, and reforestation programs. Forest Africa Zambia Ltd also produces high-quality organic beverages and products, adhering to food safety and quality standards, while fostering climate resilience and sustainable community development.
\nForest Africa Zambia Ltd, with the support of SNV Zambia and Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), through the Innovations for Poverty (IAP) challenge fund program, is implementing a business scale up project focused on strengthening inclusive supply chain (focus on smallholder strengthening) , improved processing capacity and increased distribution to local and potential export market.

\nDuty Station: Chilanga with field travel
\nPurpose of the Role
\nTo design, implement, and manage the project Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) system, ensuring accurate tracking of progress, outcomes, and impact.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Develop and operationalize the project M&E framework, indicators, and tools.
\nTrain project staff and community groups on M&E systems and reporting.
\nMonitor field activities including farmer onboarding, training, sourcing, and reforestation activities.
\nCollect, analyse, and document project data and lessons learned.
\nPrepare periodic progress, performance, and impact reports.
\nSupport learning, adaptive management, and evidence-based decision making.
\nCoordinate project-wide reporting on milestones, outputs, and outcomes.
\nSupport audit preparation through documentation and verification of results.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Development Studies or related field.
\nMinimum 3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in MEL or developmental project implementation for donor-funded projects.
\nStrong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.
\nExperience with community-based and agricultural projects is an advantage.
\nProficiency in MS Excel, SPSS\/STATA or similar tools.<\/p>\n
