The Technical Sales Engineers will regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments. Work closely with the sales team to present and demonstrate technical products or services. Explain complex solutions in simple terms and help customers understand technical benefits during the sales process.<br \/>\nJob search platform<br \/>\nSummary of Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Search for new clients who might benefit from company ICT and telecoms products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions<br \/>\nDevelop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements<br \/>\nPersuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery<br \/>\nNegotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs<br \/>\nCalculate client quotations and administer client accounts<br \/>\nProvide pre-sales technical assistance and product education<br \/>\nWork on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required<br \/>\nArrange and carry out product training<br \/>\nAnalyse costs and sales<br \/>\nVisiting client sites to perform product demonstrations, assess technical requirements, and provide on-site support during installation or integration.<br \/>\nBuilding and maintaining long-term customer relationships is a core part of the role. Ensure clients are satisfied after purchase and assist with upgrades, troubleshooting, or new solution development.<br \/>\nAct as a communication bridge between customers and internal teams \u2014 providing feedback to product development, engineering, and marketing to refine offerings based on real-world needs.<br \/>\nPrepare reports for head office and keep customer records<br \/>\nMeet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects<br \/>\nSupport marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events<br \/>\nMake technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs<br \/>\nLiaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts<br \/>\nHelp in the design of custom-made products<br \/>\nProvide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.<\/p>\n<p>Required Skills and Competencies\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication skills<br \/>\nAttention to detail<br \/>\nSound judgement and good business sense<br \/>\nExcellent organisational skills<br \/>\nStrong Leadership Skills<br \/>\nAbility to build relationships quickly and effectively<br \/>\nExcellent problem-solving skills<br \/>\nExcellent negotiating skills<\/p>\n<p>Primary Areas of Accountability:<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<p>A bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, IT or Telecoms<br \/>\nMust have a\u00a0minimum of 3+ years\u2019 work experience in sales of ICT and Telecom products and services<br \/>\nMust have proven experience in sales and the technology field.<br \/>\nStrong key account, customer service, and sales skills.<br \/>\nAbility to relate technical information to nontechnical customers.<br \/>\nExcellent technical and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nMust be willing to travel at short notice<br \/>\nMust have a valid drivers license\u00a0<br \/>\nMust be a member of relevant professional (ICTAZ, EIZ)<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
