\nLundazi Trades Training Institute (LTTI) under the Ministry of Technology and Science of the Republic of Zambia, situated in Lundazi District in eastern Province is looking for a high caliber mature person to fill the position of lecturer in Computer Studies on Part time basis.
\nLundazi Trades is a TEVETA registered Training Institution which offers demand driven Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Courses on full-time Learning basis. The Institution operates on a Termly Calendar (January \u2013 April, May \u2013 August, September \u2013 December).

\n(a)\u00a0JOB PURPOSE<\/p>\n
To undertake effective delivery of training in accordance with the curricula in order to impart knowledge and skill to learners.
\n(b)\u00a0DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\nThe successful candidate will be reporting to the Principal and shall be responsible for:
\ni) Undertaking effective delivery of student\u2019s assessment, research supervision, industrial attachments assessments and maintenance of performance records in order to determine effectiveness of the level of leaning;<\/p>\n
Undertaking the development and review of appropriate syllabi in order to ensure efficiency delivery of training.;<\/p>\n
Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans in order to ensure effectiveness of training;<\/p>\n
Undertaking effective research and consultancy in order to contribute to the body of knowledge and promote best practice;<\/p>\n
Ensuring that all Continuous Assessments (CAs) are submitted in good time to the Examinations Officer so that they are submitted to the appropriate Examination Bodies;<\/p>\n
Coordinating and undertaking regular monitoring and evaluation of long term training programmes on full, part time and ODL programmes; and<\/p>\n
Undertaking any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time by the Principal (CEO) or the Head of Section.<\/p>\n
(c) QUALIFICTIONS<\/p>\n
The applicant must possess the following qualifications:<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits including English language;<\/p>\n
Diploma in Computer Studies or its equivalent; and<\/p>\n
Teaching Methodology Certificate will be an added advantage for those who are not teachers;<\/p>\n
d) REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
Three (3) years of experience;<\/p>\n
Ability to write technical and analytical reports and ability to communicate effectively in English; and<\/p>\n
Accreditation with Technical Education, Vocational & Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA) is mandatory and any other professional body.<\/p>\n
At least 30 years old but less than fifty (50) years of age.<\/p>\n
