Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Principal Accountabilities:
\nThis is a middle management role reporting to Audit & Risk Manager. The Senior Risk Officer will review, assess and advise on the implementation of the risk management processes.
\nPrimary Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Coordinate the implementation of all aspects of the risk function, including implementation of processes, tools and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risks;
\nSupporting the Executive through Manager Audit and Risk by coordinating and providing clear and concise risk information, advice and\/or reports that can be used in planning and decision-making;
\nCoordinating the various activities relating to Enterprise Risk Management within the Authority;
\nHelping to build an Enterprise Risk Management culture within the Authority, including facilitating and driving Enterprise Risk Management at the strategic and operational level within the Authority and ensuring consistency in practice;
\nEnsuring there are easily accessible systems and processes in place to enable all staff to conveniently undertake Enterprise Risk Management in their day-to-day work;
\nEnsuring Enterprise Risk Management processes are applied consistently across the Authority;
\nOrganising appropriate staff Enterprise Risk Management training and development;
\nDeveloping and maintaining a risk reporting framework to enable regular advising\/reporting of key risks, and the management of those risks, to the Executive;
\nSupporting staff with their Enterprise Risk Management obligations and providing staff with advice and tools to ensure Enterprise Risk Management compliance;
\nImplementing effective Enterprise Risk Management communication mechanisms and information system\/s;
\nEstablishing and maintaining an ongoing monitoring system to track the Enterprise Risk Management activities undertaken within the Authority and assessing the need for further action;
\nAssessing Enterprise Risk Management information for completeness, accuracy and consistency (for example, risk registers, risk treatment plans); and
\nPreparing Risk Reports as and when required.<\/p>\n
Education Requirements<\/p>\n
Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) \u2018O\u2019 Levels (Credit or better) with Mathematics and English a must;
\nRelevant bachelor\u2019s degree or full professional qualification such as ZICA\/CIMA\/ACCA, CISA\/CIA;
\nCertified Risk Analyst, or equivalent Risk Management Certificate will be an added advantage;
\n\u00a0Member of a professional body such as the Institute of Internal Auditors, ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, CISA and IRMZ;
\n5 years minimum relevant pre-job experience.<\/p>\n

Strong Data mining, analytical and programming skills.
\nAble to write technical and analytical reports.
\nExcellent Communication, presentation and Interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
