In pursuit of its business strategies in Zambia, the company invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position mentioned below, to join its team at\u00a0ORYX Energies Zambia Ltd \u201cOEZL,\u201d\u00a0based on the Copperbelt and Lusaka.<br \/>\nThe successful candidate will be reporting to the\u00a0B2C Manager.<br \/>\nThe\u00a0TERRITORY MANAGER\u00a0will be based in Lusaka, at\u00a0CCO Lusaka.<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE:<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0HSSEQ<\/p>\n<p>Ensure all stations within the geographical portfolio are compliant to B2C Policies and HSSEQ Standards.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Operational and Service Standards:<\/p>\n<p>Create the conditions with Dealers and Station Managers that will put the customers at the heart of everything that they do.<br \/>\nEnsure all stations within the geographical portfolio are compliant to the defined min B2C Service and Standards.<br \/>\nEnsure\u00a0professional implementation of Oryx\u2019s B2C Customer and Dealer Value propositions.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Performance<\/p>\n<p>Manage the Business relationship, within a geographic area, with Dealers and Station Managers, dispensing business advice to maximize profitable returns for both Oryx Energies and the Dealers.<br \/>\nResponsible for ensuring the performance of stations against sales and profit targets and associated KPI\u2019s.\u00a0Accountable for the delivery of the Oryx stations and Dealers P&amp;Ls.<br \/>\n\u00a0Works with Dealers and Station Managers to collaboratively develop current and future financial years to sustain and grow the profitable future of the station.<\/p>\n<p>JOB DIMENSIONS:<br \/>\nTO MAXIMISE<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Customers: Ensure consistent delivery of the Oryx customer value proposition<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0People:<br \/>\na.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Participate in attraction and selection of the right Dealers.<br \/>\nb. Identify gaps in Dealer competencies and delivery of operational excellence. Coach, support and advise Dealers with the aid of appropriate tools.<br \/>\nc.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Develop Dealer &amp; Station Manager succession plans within the Territory ensuring Dealer pipeline is in place through active participation in recruitment and selection processes, and correct allocation of CODO\/CO sites.<br \/>\nd.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensuring that the Dealer and Station Manager trains and develops the site staff and understands the importance of People in delivering exceptional service.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Shareholder<br \/>\na.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Setting Dealer Business Plans to deliver sales and profitability targets represented in monthly targets.<br \/>\nb.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Review Dealer\u2019s performance and support Dealer to develop action plans to close any performance gaps.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0HSSEQ: Develop and maintain a strong HSSE culture within his\/her territory.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0Non-Fuel B2C (NFR):<br \/>\na.\u00a0\u00a0Ensure a consistent customer value proposition is implemented in Oasis Shops to promote the Oryx Oasis Shop brand.<br \/>\nb.\u00a0Ensure all spaces available within a service station are filled \/ income generating.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0Operational Excellence: Maintain high operational standards. Plan and conduct site visits in accordance with agreed call plan cycle<br \/>\n7 Marketing: Implement and give ongoing support of Marketing and Network initiatives<br \/>\nActivities: Excellence in Execution<br \/>\nTerritory Management:<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Identify Gaps in all aspects of site performance (including service and \u2018people\u2019), advice or offer Dealers support to help them to profitably deliver their targets and develop the business for the mutual benefit of both the Dealer and ORYX<\/p>\n<p>Prepare the annual detailed business plan per station.<br \/>\nSubmit a weekly planning and end of the month visits report synthesis to the B2C Manager<br \/>\nVisit each station as per call plan cycle. Regular reviews and appropriate action plans to meet any target shortfalls.<br \/>\nEnsure Maintaining of stock losses under standard tolerance.<br \/>\nPerform end of month Balancing for all stations<br \/>\nPerform end of month financial situation and P&amp;L and follow accounts evolution for each station.<br \/>\nPerform cash control and Wet Stock reconciliation at least once a month for each station.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manage and maintain positive Dealer relationships, supporting Dealers to achieve and maintain top class site performance (including counselling to underperforming sites)<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure Dealers comply with the Site Operations\/HSSE standards, contracts and manuals.<\/p>\n<p>Perform a monthly RFB checklist and HSSEQ Inspection checklist for each station.<br \/>\nResponsible for on-the-Spot training for all station staff &amp; Dealers in the Territory, in coordination with the HSSEQ Manager<br \/>\nEnsure company\u2019s equipment is functioning and well maintained in coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor<br \/>\nReport immediately all accidents and near-misses to the HSSEQ and Operations Manager<br \/>\nReport immediately all station staff misconduct and Customer complaint to the B2C Manager.<br \/>\nPerform the risk assessment study every year in coordination with the HSSEQ Department<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manage and maintain a Dealer master plan within Territory through Dealer assessment and involvement with recruitment processes.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensuring that Dealers\u2019 actions do not damage ORYX\u2019s Reputation<br \/>\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensuring that the Dealer trains and develops their staff, and understands the importance of people in delivering the Customer Commitment<\/p>\n<p>Hold stations\u2019 staff meeting during incentives competition, explain and help put in place advertising campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure proper implementation of the daily payment system at the station.<br \/>\n8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure full implementation of the Network Marketing Policy and procedures without any exception.<br \/>\n9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Prepare and submit the Monthly reports to the B2C Manager<br \/>\n10.\u00a0\u00a0Monitor Competitors\u2019 activity in the Territory and inform management for proper decision marking.<br \/>\n11.\u00a0\u00a0Any other work-related duties assigned by your supervisor.<br \/>\nNFR Management:<\/p>\n<p>With support, implement the category plans for the shop network.<br \/>\nEnsure that planograms by category of product and by store are compliant and in line with agreed merchandising.
