The<br \/>\nsuccessful candidate will play a strategic role in driving<br \/>\npeople management initiatives aligned with business<br \/>\nobjectives, while ensuring full compliance with Zambian<br \/>\nlabour laws and regulatory requirements.<br \/>\nReporting To:<br \/>\nChief Executive Officer (CEO)<br \/>\nFunctions:<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and<br \/>\nprocedures aligned with company goals.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and<br \/>\nworkforce planning processes.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Manage employee performance management systems<br \/>\nand appraisal processes.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Oversee training, learning and development programs<br \/>\nto enhance staff capacity.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Ensure compliance with the Employment Code Act and<br \/>\nother relevant Zambian labour laws.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Provide guidance on employee relations matters<br \/>\nincluding disciplinary procedures and grievance<br \/>\nhandling.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Manage payroll administration, compensation,<br \/>\nbenefits, and statutory contributions.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Promote employee engagement, organizational<br \/>\nculture, and staff wellness initiatives.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Maintain accurate and confidential employee records<br \/>\nand HR databases.<br \/>\n2. Administration Management<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Oversee office administration, facilities management,<br \/>\nand asset control.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Ensure effective management of company property,<br \/>\nequipment, and fleet (where applicable).<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Supervise administrative staff and ensure efficient<br \/>\nsupport services.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Ensure compliance with regulatory and licensing<br \/>\nrequirements relevant to HR and administration<br \/>\nfunctions.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Oversee health and safety standards within the<br \/>\nworkplace<br \/>\n3. Strategic &amp; Compliance Functions<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Advise management on HR best practices and<br \/>\norganizational development.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Prepare HR and administration reports for senior<br \/>\nmanagement.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and<br \/>\nprofessional standards.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Lead audits related to HR and administrative<br \/>\nprocesses.<br \/>\nDesired Competencies<br \/>\n\uf0d8 Sober minded<br \/>\n\uf0d8 Good management skills<br \/>\n\uf0d8 Attention to detail<br \/>\n\uf0d8 Great sense of urgency<br \/>\n\uf0d8 Ability to work under pressure and ability to embrace<br \/>\nchange.<br \/>\n\uf0d8 High level of integrity and confidentiality.<br \/>\nQualification, Skills<br \/>\nand Experience<br \/>\nRequired:<\/p>\n<p>Full Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource<\/p>\n<p>Management (ZIHRM).<\/p>\n<p>Must possess a valid 2026 Practicing Licence issued by<\/p>\n<p>ZIHRM.<\/p>\n<p>ZAQA certified academic and professional credentials.<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resource Management,<\/p>\n<p>Business Administration, or related field (Master\u2019s Degree is<br \/>\nan added advantage).<\/p>\n<p>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 progressive HR experience, with at<\/p>\n<p>least 3 years in a Managerial role.<\/p>\n<p>Experience in the financial services or microfinance sector<\/p>\n<p>will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Strong knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR best<\/p>\n<p>practices.<\/p>\n<p>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal<\/p>\n<p>skills.<\/p>\n<p>High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism<\/p>\n<p>Other Working<br \/>\nConditions:<br \/>\nFlexible working hours \uf0b7 Positive work culture \uf0b7 Competitive Remuneration<br \/>\nExpected Outcomes:<br \/>\nHighly professional employees<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
