The\u00a0Key Purpose\u00a0of this role is to improve packaging unit \/ hall performance through continuous improvement initiatives. Execute non routine activities such as NPD, trials, projects to allow operations and maintenance teams to focus on routines. Point of contact for packaging process technical specifications.<\/p>\n

\nKey Roles and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Occupational Health, Safety and Risk Ensure that Brewery quality and safety targets are met
\nEnsure overall reliability of production Process optimisation and asset management and plant availability
\nAdherence to AB InBev and global packaging quality standards
\nEnsure Packaging strategy implementation and support
\nEnsure line audits are complete by machine as per Zone Technical Experts guidelines
\nEnsure training need analyses are conducted and training plans developed for team members Ensure appropriate competencies are developed in the team, and ensure cross skilling occurs within the packaging shift team
\nProvide coaching and mentorship to Packaging Levels 1,2,3
\nAnalyses plant performance data to identify opportunities for performance improvement and waste reduction
\nAnalyses plant failure modes and investigate causes for repeat failures to correct root causes<\/p>\n

A superior performance track record indicating a disciplined work ethic with passion for problem solving and continuous improvement
\nExcellent understanding of VPO Effective communication skills
\nGood presentation skills<\/p>\n

\nProvide operational support to autonomous shift-based teams on process problem solving, supplying expert advice and guidance

\nCoaching and mentoring: with deviations addressed through the non-conformance management procedure and capin process<\/p>\n

\nMinimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Relevant Degree (Elec, Mech, Industrial, Instrumental)
\nBelt training
\nPackaging Technical \/ Management \/ Global Management Trainee
\nAt least 3-5 years factory production experience and a management level
\nProven people management<\/p>\n
