technology solutions that support Digital PayGo\u2019s fast-growing digital financial services environment.<\/p>\n

\n2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
The responsibilities for the role include:
\na) Developing and implementing an IT strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
\nb) Overseeing IT service delivery across infrastructure, applications, security, and support.
\nc) Leading technology innovation and adoption across the organization.
\nd) Building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing IT and development team.
\ne) Managing IT vendors, technology partners, and service providers.
\nf) Ensuring robust IT governance, risk management, cybersecurity, and business continuity.<\/p>\n

\n3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
a) Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (A Masters degree in any of these fields is an added advantage).
\nb) 5\u201310 years\u2019 experience managing IT operations in a fast-paced environment.
\nc) Strong background in Full Stack Development and experience leading development teams.
\nd) Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or digital financial services.<\/p>\n

\n4. ESSENTIAL SKILL SETS AND COMPETENCIES
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
a) Good understanding of React, React Native, Next.js, Android, iOS, Java, Python.
\nb) Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern web technologies, and architectural principles.
\nc) Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and other databases.
\nd) Familiarity with Git, GitHub, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and SDLC best practices.
\ne) Strong understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data protection.
\nf) Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and Python is an added advantage.
\ng) Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nh) Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
\ni) Customer-focused, collaborative, and adaptable.
\nj) High level of accountability, independence, and self-motivation.
\nk) Growth mindset with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
