The project aims to promote equitable access to quality, inclusive education for children with disabilities, through inclusive systems and community-based approaches.<br \/>\nZAFOD invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Inclusive Education Officer, to be based in Muchinga Province.<br \/>\nPosition Details<br \/>\nPosition: Inclusive Education Officer<br \/>\nDuty Station: Chinsali District, Muchinga Province<br \/>\nContract Type: Full-time (100% position)<br \/>\nReporting To: ZAFOD Programs Manager<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Coordinate and support the implementation of inclusive education activities in Muchinga Province.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Provide technical guidance on inclusive education practices to stakeholders, including schools, education officials, and community structures.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Support capacity building for teachers, school administrators, and community actors on disability inclusion.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Monitor, document, and report on project progress in line with donor and organizational requirements.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Contribute to planning, budgeting, and accountability processes for inclusive education actualization, at provincial level.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The officer is expected to work closely with SSI, CBM, government departments, and other partners to ensure effective project delivery.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Education, Special\/Inclusive Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Extensive experience in education and inclusive education programming is mandatory.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proven experience working with children with disabilities and inclusive education systems.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong understanding of disability rights and inclusive development.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Experience working with NGOs and donor-funded projects is an added advantage.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
