Working with the HR Manager in creating, implementing and managing onboarding plans. Assist in performance management and employee evaluation. Maintaining employee records and paperwork<br \/>\nSummary of Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Recruiting staff, writing job descriptions, checking application forms, creating candidate shortlists and conducting primary interviews<br \/>\nDevising and implementing policies to select, develop and retain staff<br \/>\nOverseeing staff welfare at different sites<br \/>\nWorking closely with the HR Manager and other departments to implement policies and procedures<br \/>\nOverseeing health and safety policies<br \/>\nWorking closely with the HR Manager in the developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management<br \/>\nAdvising on pay, promotion and benefits, including sick pay, paternity and maternity pay<br \/>\nCarrying out salary reviews<br \/>\nNegotiating with staff and their representatives (for example, trade union officials)<br \/>\nAdministering payroll<br \/>\nHandling staff complaints, grievances and implementing disciplinary procedure<\/p>\n<p>Required Skill and Competencies\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Excellent verbal communication skills<br \/>\nAttention to details<br \/>\nGood problem-solving skills<br \/>\nSensitivity and understanding<br \/>\nExcellent\u00a0employee engagement skills<br \/>\nOutstanding organizational and time-management skills<br \/>\nGood interpersonal skills<br \/>\nExcellent\u00a0\u00a0decision-making skills<\/p>\n<p>Primary Areas of Accountability:<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in human resources, business, or a related field<br \/>\nAdditional HR education and certification (CPD) will be a plus<br \/>\nMust have a\u00a0minimum of 4-6 years\u2019 experience in human resources\u00a0 with either a construction or engineering company<br \/>\nMust have excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay &amp; benefits, recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, training &amp; development etc.<br \/>\nStrong ethical standards<br \/>\nGood understanding of labor laws<br \/>\nProven expertise in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Compensation &amp; Benefits &amp; Organizational Structure will be a plus<br \/>\nMust be a member of ZIHRM\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFIED &amp; EXPERIENCED FEMALES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
