\nJob Purpose
\nICYPEED LOGISTICS is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Clearing Agent. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customs clearance processes for import and export consignments and ensuring compliance with Zambian customs regulations and statutory requirements.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Prepare and submit customs declarations using ASYCUDA World.
\nProcess import and export documentation in compliance with customs regulations.
\nCalculate and verify customs duties, taxes, and related charges.
\nLiaise with the Zambia Revenue Authority and other regulatory authorities for cargo clearance.
\nCoordinate inspections with customs officials when required.
\nFollow up on shipments at borders and ensure timely clearance.
\nMaintain accurate records and proper documentation of cleared consignments.
\nProvide clients with timely updates on shipment status.
\nResolve customs queries, delays, and discrepancies efficiently.
\nEnsure full compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Diploma or Degree in Clearing & Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
\nMinimum of 2\u20133 years\u2019 experience in customs clearing and forwarding.
\nProven experience using ASYCUDA World.
\nStrong knowledge of Zambian import\/export procedures and tariff classifications.<\/p>\n
