This role contributes to improved quality, consistency, and learning in KW programs in Africa (currently encompassing work in Malawi, Zambia, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, and South Sudan).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nChrist-Centered Culture<\/p>\n<p>This means we regularly share our faith with others. directly mobilize ministry through our volunteers and donors.<\/p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>collaborate with regional team members to strengthen program plans,\u00a0ensuring consistency and clarity for staff training and program replication<\/p>\n<p>support the development and review of logic models, annual planning and\u00a0strategy, M&amp;E frameworks, and impact evaluations to enhance program\u00a0effectiveness and accountability<\/p>\n<p>ensure regional programs processes and workflows are aligned, reliable, and\u00a0replicable, supporting staff effectiveness, volunteer and participant\u00a0experience, and organizational sustainability<\/p>\n<p>train and develop regional program staff to ensure they are well-equipped to\u00a0fulfill their roles, mobilizing volunteers to serve their community through\u00a0inclusion and WASH education<\/p>\n<p>serve as a regional point person for the Optimization Team, facilitating\u00a0collaboration to improve program quality and volunteer support through\u00a0research insights<\/p>\n<p>contribute to the execution of the regional strategic plan by actively\u00a0participating in assigned regional projects<\/p>\n<p>conduct regular visits to regional programs to strengthen partnerships,\u00a0encourage volunteers, and deepen understanding of ministry and community\u00a0contexts<\/p>\n<p>support new field development or pilot initiatives as requested by the Vice President of Organizational Development and in collaboration with the Africa Regional Director<br \/>\nprovide additional support to the Regional Director as assigned, helping ensure smooth operations and alignment with organizational priorities<\/p>\n<p>Education, Experience, and Characteristics:<\/p>\n<p>must demonstrate alignment with Kingdom Workers\u2019\u00a0Statement of Faith<br \/>\nprofessional ability in speaking and writing English<br \/>\nconversational ability in KW field language (Kiswahili, Nyanja, Chichewa, etc.)\u00a0is a bonus<br \/>\nexperience with impact evaluation and research<br \/>\nstrong project management and organizational skills, with close attention to\u00a0detail<br \/>\nproven ability to think critically, conduct research, and provide sound\u00a0program recommendations<br \/>\nexperience with process development and improvement<br \/>\nat least 5 years of experience managing or supporting international public\u00a0health programs, preferably in humanitarian or nonprofit settings<br \/>\nbachelor\u2019s degree in relevant field (public health, international development,\u00a0etc.) required, master\u2019s degree preferred<br \/>\nat least 2 years of cross-cultural work experience<br \/>\nability to participate in a work environment that fosters open and honest two-way communication<br \/>\nability to work independently, prioritize workload, and deliver quality results\u00a0on time, while working on multiple projects simultaneously<br \/>\nmust possess strong communication skills<br \/>\nexperience working with a decentralized team is a bonus<br \/>\nproficient using and troubleshooting technology and software platforms<br \/>\nhave proven ability to work cross-culturally while building relationships and\u00a0working collaboratively with others<\/p>\n<p>Location and Travel Expectations:<\/p>\n<p>ideally based in Malawi or Zambia<br \/>\nability to travel to African countries such as Malawi, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda,\u00a0Ethiopia, Nigeria, etc.<br \/>\nposition\u00a0can be partially remote, as approved by management<br \/>\nability to travel\u00a030% of the time<br \/>\nability to work during evenings and\/or weekends occasionally<br \/>\nability to travel by road, air, or other means as may be encountered in a\u00a0developing country<br \/>\nability to happily spend time and work in remote areas<br \/>\nvalid passport, or ability to obtain one, required<br \/>\nvalid driver\u2019s license required<\/p>\n<p>Other Conditions:<\/p>\n<p>frequently required to walk, sit,\u00a0stand, and\/or lift up to 30 pounds<br \/>\nfrequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity<br \/>\ncontinually required to talk
