\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Receive, inspect and record incoming materials and supplies.
\nMaintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems.
\nIssue materials as per authorized requests.
\nConduct routine stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
\nEnsure proper storage and labeling of items.
\nPrepare inventory reports for management review.
\nEnsure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
\nMonitor expiry dates (if applicable) and prevent wastage.
\nSupervise stores assistants and support staff<\/p>\n
Skills<\/p>\n
Inventory Management \u2013 Monitoring stock levels, tracking usage, and preventing shortages or overstocking.
\nRecord Keeping & Documentation \u2013 Maintaining accurate stock registers, GRNs, invoices, and issue notes.
\nSupply Chain Coordination \u2013 Working with , sales, procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
\nAttention to Detail \u2013 Ensuring accuracy in stock counts and documentation.
\nStock Auditing \u2013 Conducting regular physical stock counts and reconciliations.
\nOrganizational Skills \u2013 Proper arrangement and labeling of materials for easy access.
\nCommunication Skills \u2013 Coordinating with departments, vendors, and management.
\nProblem-Solving Ability \u2013 Handling discrepancies, damaged goods and stock variances.
\nKnowledge of Safety & Compliance \u2013 Ensuring proper storage conditions and adherence to company policies.<\/p>\n
