\nEcovolt Innovations is a Zambian clean energy company deploying IoT-enabled solar mini-grids to power rural manufacturing, irrigation, and productive-use enterprises. We are expanding our operations in Western Province and seeking motivated Electrical Trainees to join our technical workforce development programme.
\nTraining Programme Overview (3 Months Intensive)
\nSuccessful candidates will undergo structured hands-on technical training covering:
\n1. Electronic Product Design, Development & Manufacturing<\/p>\n
Basic electronics principles
\nSoldering techniques
\nCircuit simulation & circuit design
\nSchematic capture
\nPCB design fundamentals
\nProduct design thinking process
\nElectronics assembly & repair
\nDatasheet interpretation<\/p>\n
2. IoT & Electronics Programming<\/p>\n
Embedded systems programming
\nCoding fundamentals
\nNetworking basics
\nCloud computing fundamentals
\nIoT systems architecture
\nRemote monitoring systems<\/p>\n
Post-Training Opportunity
\nUpon successful completion, trainees will be recruited as\u00a0Technicians\u00a0with Ecovolt Innovations to:<\/p>\n
Undertake maintenance and repairs for solar mini-grids
\nService solar-powered water systems
\nSupport IoT monitoring installations
\nProvide technical support to rural energy clients<\/p>\n
Deployment will be in\u00a0Kaoma, Nkeyema, or Luampa Districts.
\nMinimum Requirements<\/p>\n
Diploma in Power Electrical Engineering (Minimum Qualification)
\nFluent in Lozi (Mandatory)
\nWillingness to be stationed in rural Western Province
\nStrong interest in renewable energy and IoT technologies
\nBasic computer literacy
\nHigh integrity and willingness to learn<\/p>\n
Preferred Attributes<\/p>\n
Practical experience with solar systems or mini-grids
\nBasic programming knowledge
\nProblem-solving mindset
\nAbility to work in field conditions<\/p>\n
