Position: Field Assistant
\nLocation: Livingstone, Zambia
\nNature of Position: Agricultural Field Operations & Data Collection
\nReporting Line: Field Specialists \/ Operations Manager
\nContract Type & Duration:
\nThis is a contract-based role with an initial three (3) month probationary period, with the
\npossibility of extension or longer-term engagement subject to performance and project
\nrequirements.
\nWorking Conditions:
\nThis role involves extensive outdoor fieldwork, including travel to remote farming locations
\nand working under varying weather conditions.

\ncommunities to deliver climate change mitigation solutions through sustainable agricultural
\npractices and atmospheric carbon removal initiatives.
\nJob Summary:
\nMati Carbon is seeking a motivated Field Assistant to support agricultural field operations
\nand data collection activities in Livingstone, Zambia.
\nRoles & Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Assist in deployment and monitoring of natural soil supplements
\n\u2022 Engage with farmers and support project registration
\n\u2022 Collect soil samples for laboratory analysis
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate field records and documentation
\n\u2022 Support reporting and field logistics
\n\u2022 Perform additional field-related duties as required
\nEligibility Criteria:
\n\u2022 Graduate Diploma or Bachelor\u2019s degree (Agriculture related)
\n\u2022 1 year field experience (fresh graduates with field exposure may apply)
\n\u2022 Based in or willing to relocate to Livingstone, Zambia
\nEssential Requirements:<\/p>\n
Valid motorbike license
\nAndroid smartphone with good camera quality
\nBasic Computer Knowledge<\/p>\n
