Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Assist the Company and its Sub-Companies in penetrating the industry in Zambia and the DRC.<\/p>\n
Identify potential customers within the relevant industry.<\/p>\n
Engage prospective clients and introduce the Company and its products\/services.<\/p>\n
Support the execution of initial sales in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.<\/p>\n
Maintain strong relationships with identified customers through regular follow-ups and needs assessments.<\/p>\n
Assist the sales team in creating and maintaining a comprehensive database of related companies, products used, and convertible opportunities.<\/p>\n
Identify and onboard new suppliers\/manufacturers for products not currently sourced by the Company.<\/p>\n
Contribute to building a strong sales and technical team.<\/p>\n
Provide strategic advice to improve business performance, focusing on operations, strategy, and supply chain management.<\/p>\n
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, including new product development.<\/p>\n
Introduce new products to both existing and prospective customers.<\/p>\n
Train sales team members, develop effective sales strategies, manage sales teams, and assist in establishing sales procedures and processes.<\/p>\n
Use best efforts to promote and maximize product sales within the targeted industry.<\/p>\n
Update the Company sales ledger and monitor product sales movement.<\/p>\n
Identify new opportunities for products and services within the Sales Manager\u2019s respective market.<\/p>\n
Monitor the Company\u2019s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) in relation to local competition and market trends.<\/p>\n
Advise on optimal pricing structures within the respective market.<\/p>\n
Assist in preparing and submitting offers to potential and existing clients and work towards converting them into confirmed sales.<\/p>\n
Advise on product selection and quantities for importation or local procurement from suppliers\/manufacturers.<\/p>\n
