About The Role
\nThe Growth Associate will support the execution of Apollo\u2019s marketing and\u00a0\u00a0communication\u00a0strategy in Zambia. This role is highly execution-focused. You will lead farmer and Field Officer communications, support awareness campaigns, and work closely with the commercial team to drive renewals, acquisition, and farmer engagement.

\nYour Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Farmer & Field Officer Communications
\nDraft and execute clear, simple, and action-driven communication campaigns for farmers across awareness, engagement, renewals, and repayment cycles- primarily through SMS
\nDevelop structured, motivating communications for Field Officers via WhatsApp and SMS to drive execution, alignment, and performance in the field
\nEnsure all messaging is localized, easy to understand, and aligned to seasonal commercial prioritiesCoordinate closely with Commercial, Product, and Repayment teams to ensure messaging is accurate and strategically aligned
\nTrack and report on communication performance (delivery rates, engagement, response trends) and recommend improvements
\nField Marketing & Sales Support
\nSupport planning and execution of agro-dealer activations, district events, and field promotions
\nDevelop simple, effective field collateral (flyers, posters etc) in collaboration with the Design team
\nPartner closely with the Sales team to ensure marketing materials are well distributed, understood, and used effectively in the field
\nMaintain brand consistency and visibility across districts
\nAwareness & Media
\nSupport radio campaigns and local awareness initiatives in priority districts
\nCoordinate with media vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective execution
\nAssist in managing Apollo Zambia\u2019s social media presence, including localized content and basic campaign support
\nPerformance & Budget Tracking
\nSupport tracking of marketing spend and campaign impact against agreed KPIs
\nMonitor key growth metrics and share regular insights
\nEnsure campaign execution remains within approved budgets<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
4+ years of professional experience in a marketing or communications role
\nCreativity & Excellent Writing Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in English, Nyanja and Bemba with exceptional writing abilities
\nProficient with Excel\/Sheets: Comfortable working with data and paying attention to detail
\nInquisitive and good with Feedback: Willing to ask questions, share opinions, and contribute to the overall communication strategy
\nSelf-Driven and Collaborative: Able to work independently and as part of a team, thriving in a collaborative environment
\nAdaptability to diverse culture contexts and willingness to engage with local farmers and communities across districts in Zambia
\nSoftware adoption: Open to learning and utilising new software platforms, including OpenAI, Infobip, and Intercom
\nTime Management: Strong ability to manage tasks and deliver outputs on time
\nPassion for Communication: Keen interest in working and growing in the field of copywriting and\/or communications
\nDesign skills and knowledge of graphic design tools are a plus<\/p>\n
