\nAbout the role:
\nOur client is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Procurement, Expeditor & Market Research Analyst to support their procurement operations, supplier management, logistics follow ups, and strategic market intelligence. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely sourcing, cost efficiency, supplier performance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.

\nKey Responsibilities:
\n1. Procurement & Sourcing<\/p>\n
Source and evaluate suppliers for mining spares, heavy equipment parts, consumables, and services.
\nPrepare and analyze RFQs, purchase orders, supplier quotations, and comparative cost analyses.
\nNegotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions with local and international suppliers.
\nEnsure procurement activities comply with internal policies, budgets, and ethical standards.
\nMaintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.<\/p>\n
2. Expediting & Order Follow-Up<\/p>\n
Track and expedite purchase orders from placement to final delivery.
\nLiaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
\nIdentify potential delays or supply chain risks and proactively implement corrective actions.
\nCoordinate customs clearance documentation and support import\/export processes when required.
\nProvide regular status updates on orders, deliveries, and lead times to management.<\/p>\n
3. Market Research & Analysis<\/p>\n
Conduct continuous market research on pricing trends, supplier performance, and product availability.
\nAnalyze local, regional, and international market data to identify cost-saving and sourcing opportunities.
\nPrepare detailed market intelligence reports to support procurement and strategic decisions.<\/p>\n
4. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
Act as a key liaison between suppliers, logistics partners, and internal departments.
\nPrepare professional reports, summaries, and presentations for management.
\nSupport cross departmental coordination with finance, operations, and sales teams.
\nMaintain professional relationships with suppliers and service providers.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in procurement, expediting, supply chain, or market research roles.
\nStrong understanding of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and cost analysis.
\nExcellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.
\nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
\nProficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic procurement or ERP systems.
\nExperience in mining, heavy equipment, industrial supplies, or engineering sectors is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
